- Determine, in conjunction with the Director of Sales, priorities and objectives to support Hamilton Kent “Sustainable Development” initiatives, and execute marketing plans and programs to ensure the growth and expansion of same, with particular focus on sale and marketing of the Lifespan product line.
- Promote and assure a positive relationship with all Hamilton Kent’s potential and existing customers through regular communication of product related information. Upon delivery of products, evaluate customer’s satisfaction level to ensure constant enhancement of customer relations.
- Liaise with internal customer service personnel in order to communicate customer information and all relevant data.
- As a technical resource, service existing account and generate future business prospects with visits throughout assigned territory. Prepare presentations aimed at gathering pertinent customer information while relaying which of Hamilton Kent products and services meet their needs.
- Manage sales and marketing activities for assigned territory. Collaborate with corporate management on sales plans and performance, making recommendations for improving regional effectiveness as well as focused programs.
- Develop market potential in assigned territory in order to obtain market share growth and develop novel market opportunities, using Hamilton Kent’s unique production technology and know-how.
- Assist at Local, Regional and National Trade Shows, as may be required.
- Attend Local, Regional and National Level meetings and events of appropriate Trade Organizations, as may be required.
- Attend or participate in weekly production / backlog meetings on behalf of customers.
· University or College Degree, preferably in an Engineering Discipline.· 3-5 years experience in field-sales and distribution. · Knowledge of engineering and/or construction.· Mechanical Aptitude.· Excellent written and oral communication skills.· Excellent time management skills.· Ability to undertake extensive, extended travel throughout North America.· Working knowledge of Personal Computer systems, and Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
