- Prepare, assemble and pack product as per instructions and methods.
- Ensure product meets IPEX quality standard before it is packaged.
- Ensure machine is in working order, and tools used are safe and in good working condition. Follow all applicable quality procedures, and health and safety rules.
- Packing of boxes with appropriate label, weight, quantity and quality of product. Load box(es) onto skid.
- Ensure the work area is clean and tidy.
- Regularly remove excess material from area under the nozzle of machines.
- Assist in training of new employee as required by supervisor.
- Ensures adherence to plant health, safety and environmental procedures at all times to secure a safe and efficient workplace. Follows safe operating procedures and plant conduct.
- Completion of Grade 10 or experience in a related industry is required.
- Experience in a plastic-manufacturing environment.
- Average to good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of health and safety practice in a plant environment.
