Located in our London Ontario plant, this is an exciting opportunity to gain Human resources, payroll and benefits experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment. We need someone who has a minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience with advanced computer skills specifically in excel and database management. The successful candidate will:  
  • Be responsible for all hourly employees pay, benefits administration, compilation of vacation and attendance reports etc. and answering all related inquiries.
  • Develop and Maintain accurate and up to date employee database including but not limited to:
    • Personal data (hire date, phone number etc.)
    • Attendance record
    • Training records and requirements
    • Postings and Chronology of positions
    • Discipline
    • Performance appraisals
  • Update daily attendance records and prepare disciplinary actions.
  • Prepare payroll documentation required by the corporate office.
  • Administer Return to Work, Claims management and record keeping for WSIB and Non Occupational injuries or illnesses.
  • Ensure that filing is complete and up to date.
  • Ensure all processes and data requirements related to the collective agreement are maintained and followed.
  • Meet with employees, as required, to resolve benefit and payroll issues
  • Recruit and Identify potential new employees to be selected by Managers.
  • Publish Quarterly Newsletter for employees
  • Organize employee engagement and celebration activities
  • Be responsible for administering years of service awards, and preparing monthly reports for plant manager.


In order to be successful in this roll, the candidate will need: 
  • Post Secondary Education in Business Administration/Computer Science with Human Resource courses; or Human Resources Management diploma with courses in HRIS administration/data management. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Strong computer skills, Database development, Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • At least 2 years previous experience preferably in a production environment
